Use warm: Place rice bag (with cover on) inside microwave. Heat 1-2 minutes depending on your microwave. Bag gives off a warm moist heat for an hour or longer. Works great for sore necks, shoulders, backs, stomach cramps and more. Also good for warming cold feet, pet beds, and can be used to help keep food warm.
Use cold: Place rice bag (with cover on) inside a freezer safe ziplock bag (will keep the rice bag from absorbing freezer odors), then place into the freezer for 1-2 hours or until needed. Can be used on injuries where you would normally use ice or an ice pack. Can also help keep food cold.
To wash removable cover: Simply remove cover and place in washing machine on warm and then either lay flat to dry or place in dryer on cool setting.
